Amazon Prime membership available with 50% discount for "young Indians"
In a bid to expand its services in India, Amazon has announced a "Youth Offer" for customers aged between 18 to 24. As part of the offer, the e-commerce giant is offering Rs. 500 cashback to all young Indians who subscribe to the annual Prime membership of Rs. 999. Here's how you can avail this offer.
Amazon Prime offer available only on iOS and Android app
Since the offer is app exclusive, download the Amazon app on your device and log in. Click on the "Youth Offer" banner to sign up for the annual Amazon Prime Membership by paying Rs. 999 up front. Now, you'll be asked to verify your age by submitting KYC documents; upon proof validation, Rs. 500 will be credited to your Amazon Pay account.
New members will be eligible for the Prime Day sale
In a statement, Amazon has said that all the new customers who sign up for the Prime membership by availing the Youth Offer will also be eligible for the Prime Day sale scheduled to go live on July 15. Further, the e-commerce giant has announced that Rs. 500 will be credited "within 10 days to the customer's Amazon Pay balance account."

What if you just turned 25?
If you've just turned 25 or are older, you will, unfortunately, miss out on Amazon's Youth Offer. However, you can become a Prime member by subscribing to the annual plan by paying Rs. 999 or buy the monthly plan which is priced at Rs. 129. Also, if you're an Airtel or Vodafone customer, you can subscribe to plans that offer complimentary Amazon Prime membership.
