You can get 70% of the phone's cost back!
One of the most exciting iPhone X offers to have come our way is Jio's buyback scheme (for iPhone 8/8 Plus/X). You will have to pay full price for the iPhone X 256GB (Rs. 1,02,000) and recharge with a minimum Rs. 799 plan. After 12 months, Jio will buy back the device at 70% of its cost.
Here's the fine print that you might have missed
The buyback is on the device's gross price minus taxes. So if the invoice mentions Rs. 1,02,000, its actual value is Rs. 91,072 (total minus 12% GST). Thus 70% of 'cost' will be Rs. 63,750 and its net cost (for you) will be Rs. 38,250: effectively Rs. 3,188 a month. You will get the refund in Reliance Digital credit note with three-month validity.

You have to buy the phone from Reliance stores, Jio.com, MyJio or Amazon.in via seller Reliance Digital, at full cost (no EMI), between September 29-December 31. Damaged phones and those locked from Apple services won't be taken back. Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Here's a tip: you could buy gift vouchers with the credit note to get more validity (12 months).
Heavy discounts on Galaxy S7 and Google Pixel on Flipkart
Meanwhile, Flipkart is hosting the Samsung Mobile Fest during November 6-8. There's a flat discount of Rs. 16,010 on the Galaxy S7, which is going for Rs. 29,990. But if you exchange your iPhone 7 for it, you could get the device for just Rs. 5,090- a total discount of Rs. 25,000. Flipkart is also offering a discount of Rs. 17,000 on Google Pixel.
