Airtel offers unlimited calls for 168-days with Rs. 597 plan
In a bid to take on Reliance Jio's long-term Rs. 999 prepaid recharge pack, Bharti Airtel has introduced a new Rs. 597 recharge pack in various circles across India. With its latest pack, Airtel is offering long-term calling benefits by providing a 168-days validity on this plan. Additionally, users also get some data and SMS benefits from the plan. Here's more.
About Airtel's Rs. 597 prepaid recharge pack
With its Rs. 597 recharge pack, Airtel is offering unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit. The plan, which is valid for 168 days, also provides 100 SMSes per day throughout the validity of the plan. In terms of data benefit, users will get only 10GB of data for the entire 168-days period - a limit that may not suit a subscriber's data requirement.
Airtel had earlier launched a Rs. 995 long-term plan also
This Rs. 597 recharge plan is Airtel's second such long-term recharge pack after its earlier Rs. 995 plan. With its Rs. 995 recharge plan, valid for 180-days, the operator is offering unlimited voice calls, 100 daily SMSes messages, and 1GB 3G/4G data per-month (total 6GB).
What is Reliance Jio's Rs. 999 recharge plan offering?
On the other hand, under its Rs. 999 prepaid pack, Jio is offering unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day. The plan comes with just 90-days validity as against Airtel's 168-days validity on the Rs. 597 pack. However, the Jio plan offers a total of 60GB 4G data in comparison to Airtel's just 10GB data benefit on its latest Rs. 597 prepaid recharge.
