Airtel updates postpaid plans to offer more data, unlimited calling
In a bid to take on competitors, Airtel has revised several of its postpaid plans to pass on more benefits to its subscribers. The telecom giant has updated the Rs. 399, Rs. 749, Rs. 999, and Rs. 1,599 plans to offer free connections, unlimited calling, more data, and other bundled benefits like complimentary Amazon Prime as well as Netflix subscriptions. Airtel replaces Rs. 399 plan with new Rs. 499 plan
Airtel has replaced its cheapest postpaid pack of Rs. 399 with a new Rs. 499 option. Under this new base plan, you get 75GB of 3G/4G data with data rollover option, unlimited calling, and 100 daily SMSes. As part of new Airtel Thanks complimentary benefits, you also get 3-months of Netflix, 1-year Amazon Prime, ZEE5 subscription, Airtel TV as well as handset protection.
Rs. 749 plan: One of the best postpaid plans available
While Airtel has removed the Rs. 649, Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 2,999 postpaid plans, the updated Rs. 749 postpaid plan will suit more users. The plan now provides 125GB of 3G/4G data with rollover facility, unlimited calling, 100 SMSes per day along with all the Airtel Thanks benefits mentioned previously. The Rs. 749 rental is for two regular connections and one add-on connection.
Rs. 999 plan: Ideal plan for a family of 5
Those looking for a balanced family pack, the Rs. 999 plan is a great option. It offers all the benefits of the Rs. 799 plan but with 150GB of monthly data and a total of five connections including four regular connections and one add-on connection.
Rs. 1,599 plan: The most premium option
The updated Rs. 1,599 plan comes as the most premium option in Airtel's postpaid portfolio for three connections including one add-on. Under this plan, you get unlimited data, unlimited calling, 200 ISD minutes and 10% discount on International Roaming packs. Moreover, all the Airtel Thanks complimentary benefits such as free subscription to Amazon Prime, Netflix, and ZEE5 are also bundled in the pack.
