The best of Airtel's monthly, three-monthly and yearly plans
Amid intense telecom wars, Airtel has once again changed some of its most popular prepaid plans, reports say. It has also launched a special data-only pack at just Rs. 98 with 28-day validity. Unlike most others, it has no daily limit. Telecomtalk reports Airtel is planning to come up with a yearly plan of Rs. 995. Check out the details of Airtel's best-selling plans here.
Rs. 199 and Rs. 349 plans for 28-day unlimited benefits
Among the most popular prepaid plans offering 28-day validity, there's the Rs. 199 and Rs. 349 plans. Both give you unlimited local and STD calls and free messages capped at 100 a day. However, with the Rs. 199 plan, you get 1.4GB 3G/4G data daily, whereas with the Rs. 349 plan, you can get 2.5GB data every day.
Use these packs for unlimited benefits for upto 3 months
At Rs. 399, you get the usual unlimited calling and 100 SMS/day, plus 1GB data daily for 70 days. The Rs. 448 plan and the Rs. 509 plan both give you unlimited calling and messaging benefits, plus 1.4GB data per day. But the former is valid for 82 days while the latter is valid for 90 days.
5GB data/month at Rs. 98 in select circles
At Rs. 98, Airtel subscribers can get 5GB data for 28 days with no daily limit. However, there are no other benefits with the data-only plan. This is currently available only in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles. Elsewhere, it gives 2GB data for 28 days.
Hack: Get unlimited benefits for a year at Rs. 1,200
Airtel has announced a Rs. 995 plan valid for 360 days with unlimited calling, 100 SMS/day and 1GB data/month. But it's available only for select circles. If you are eligible, you can use the Rs. 193 add-on pack that gives 1GB data daily for a year. With both packs combined (Rs. 1,188), you can get unlimited calling, messaging, 1GB data daily and another 12GB.
