Airtel revamps Rs. 649 postpaid-plan to now offer 90GB data
Amid growing competition, all telecom operators keep revising their prepaid or postpaid plans. In the latest update, Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs. 649 postpaid plan to now offer 90GB of 3G/4G data, a new data rollover limit of 50GB and other benefits. Earlier, this postpaid plan offered only 50GB of data to Airtel postpaid customers. Here's more about the revised plan.
What are the offerings under the revised Rs. 649 plan?
Along with the data benefit, the plan offers 100 free SMSes, unlimited voice calls, and free roaming. Additionally, Airtel is giving a free add-on connection with the same benefits. Earlier, this add-on connection was available for a cost of Rs. 99. Under the plan, customers also get a one-year free subscription to Amazon Prime, Wynk TV subscription, and Handset Damage Protection.
What's Vodafone offering with its postpaid plans?
Vodafone has also updated its postpaid plans to offer more data and unlimited calls. Under the new plans, ranging from Rs. 399 to Rs. 2,999, Vodafone provides up to 300GB of data, free annual subscription of Netflix and Amazon and other SMSes and calling benefits. Under its new Rs. 399 plan, Vodafone offers 40GB data and with Rs. 499 plan, users get 75GB data.
Airtel also offers Rs. 399 and Rs. 499 postpaid plans
In comparison, Bharti Airtel also offers Rs. 399 and Rs. 499 postpaid plans. Under its Rs. 399 plan, Airtel provides 20GB monthly data along with unlimited calls and unlimited roaming. On the other hand, the Rs. 499 plan offers free calling and roaming along with 40GB data and one-year Amazon Prime subscription.
Jio currently offers only one postpaid plan
Currently, Reliance Jio offers only one postpaid plan of Rs. 199. Under the plan, users get a total of 25GB 4G data, free unlimited voice calls and SMSes, free access to Jio apps and additional data at Rs. 20/GB for the next 500GB.
