Airtel brings 3GB data at Rs.49! But there's a catch
Airtel has a new Rs. 49 pack on offer for its prepaid customers, which gives a whopping 3GB data for one day. It already has three similarly priced packs- one gives full talktime, another offers 1GB data, and the third gives you 500 SMSes. But the new one comes with a catch: it isn't available for all users, and only some can avail it.
Airtel's latest offer among cheapest data plans in the market
Airtel's latest offer, though segmented, is one of the cheapest data plans in the market right now, which has seen sharp price cuts in the last two years after Jio's entry. Jio has a Rs. 49 plan too, which gives 1GB 4G data and unlimited calling for 28 days, but it is available only for the JioPhone.
Here's how you can check if you are eligible
To check if you are eligible for Airtel's new offer, visit the MyAirtel app or the telecom operator's website. The other similarly priced packs mentioned are available for all customers. Recently, Airtel announced free 30GB data to new 4G users. For this, you will need a 4G-enabled handset. Upon activation of SIM, you can call 51111 to claim your free data.
