Airtel offers LG Smart TV users 6-months of free service
Airtel is working to expand its Digital TV service to more and more users as it aims to take on Reliance's Jio HomeTV. In the latest volley, the Sunil Mittal-led company has started offering free access to its streaming service to all eligible buyers of LG smart televisions. Notably, the benefit is available as part of a limited period offer.
Offer valid for users that have LG TVs from 2017-2019
According to Telecom Talk, Airtel is providing free Digital TV services for 6 months to LG smart television owners. The offer is valid for users that bought LG TVs from 2017 to 2019. However, not all models are eligible for the offer.
LG TV users will get Dabang Sports pack at discount
Alongside the main offer, LG TV users will also get a 6-month Dabang Sports pack combined with Value Lite (South) HD Pack at a discounted price of Rs. 2,500 instead of the regular price of Rs. 3,499. Users will also get a free set-top box, outdoor unit, 10m wire, free activation, remote and an adapter.
The offer will end on October 30 this year
If you happen to have an LG television, it's a great offer to avail. But make sure you show interest in the offer in time because it is a limited period scheme and will end on October 30.
Here's how to avail the offer
To avail the offer, LG TV users need to call the Airtel Digital TV number 81304 81306 wherein a company representative will verify the serial number of your LG television. If the model is eligible for the offer, you will have to provide your KYC details and an Airtel representative will visit your house to install a new connection.
