Air India to offer in-flight Wi-Fi starting with Delhi-London route
Air India has announced plans to introduce in-flight Wi-Fi services on its flights, beginning with the A350 aircraft operating between Delhi and London (Heathrow). The Tata Group-owned airline recently launched services on this route using the A350-900 plane, as part of its ongoing transformation journey. The new service is expected to enhance passenger experience by providing seamless connectivity during their flight.
A350: A new addition to Air India's fleet
Earlier this year, Air India began incorporating A350 planes into its fleet. The A350-900 is set to replace the Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, on 14 of the 17 weekly flights between Delhi and London. This change will result in an additional 336 seats being available on this route each week, according to a press release from the airline.

New wireless inflight entertainment service
In addition to the upcoming Wi-Fi services, Air India has also launched a new wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) service called Vista. This service is offered across its wide-body fleet and aims to offer passengers with a seamless entertainment experience during their flight. The introduction of Vista and the planned Wi-Fi services are part of Air India's ongoing efforts to improve passenger experience.
