Reliance Jio's Rs. 149 prepaid monthly plan
Reliance Jio's most affordable prepaid monthly plan, priced at Rs. 149, offers 4.2GB 4G data for 28 days. Daily usage is capped at 150MB. After exhausting the daily limit, data-speed would reduce to 64Kbps. Users can enjoy unlimited local/STD/roaming calls to any operator in addition to 300 local/STD/roaming SMS. Subscribers can access Jio's apps suite comprising Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Music, etc.

India's largest telco Airtel's Rs. 149 plan offers 300MB 4G/3G/2G data and unlimited local and STD Airtel mobile calls valid for 28 days. However, those without a 4G handset would get only 50MB data for 28 days with the Rs. 149 plan. Airtel's second most affordable, Rs. 199 monthly plan gives users 1GB 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited local/STD calls for 28 days.
What does Vodafone's Rs. 199 plan offer?
Vodafone's Rs. 199 plan offers 1GB 4G/3G data, and unlimited local/STD calls for 28 days. However, subscribers using over 1000 local/STD minutes in seven consecutive days (anytime within the 28 days period), would be charged 30paisa/minute for the next seven days. This charge also applies to users exhausting 250 minutes a day, and those who call over 300 different numbers in a day.

Considering the price range and offered services, Reliance Jio's Rs. 149 monthly plan seems to provide much more at a lesser price compared to Airtel's Rs. 149 and Rs. 199 plans and Vodafone's Rs. 199 plan. While all these plans have their limitations on data and calls, Jio's plan is the cheapest and best as it offers more 4G data and unlimited calling.
