2019 Toyota Innova Crysta launched at Rs. 14.93 lakh
Toyota has launched the 2019 edition of its Innova Crysta in India at a starting price of Rs. 14.93 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated minivan comes with a bunch of new features and a revamped interior. However, mechanically, the new Crysta remains same as the standard Crysta which was launched in 2016. Here's our roundup.
2019 Toyota Innova Crysta: At a glance
Toyota Innova Crysta comes with chrome finished front grille along with other metallic exteriors. It also offers power-adjustable rear view mirror as well as wiper and defogger for the rear windows. With powered front windows, adjustable projector headlights and smoked headlamps, the 7-seater minivan offers a wheelbase of 2,750mm and rides on tubeless alloy wheels.
2019 Toyota Innova Crysta: Interiors
The 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta comes with a multi-function power steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment panel. In terms of updates, the new model gets a perforated ivory leather upholstery with an embossed 'Crysta' badge, heat rejection windows, and USB fast charging ports. However, the other design features remain pretty much the same, with adjustable front seat belts, headrest, and center-armrest for rear passengers.
Under the hood
The 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta comes in two diesel engine options- 2,393cc and 2,755cc as well as, one petrol engine i.e. 2,694cc. The car is offered with both manual and automatic transmission and depending on the variant and the fuel type, it will offer a mileage of 10.75kmpl to 13.68kmpl.
Safety and braking performance
In terms of safety, the 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta comes with power door locks, central locking, crash sensors, and anti-theft provisions. It also offers clearance and back sonar, brake assist, hill assist and vehicle stability control system. For better road handling, the car has ABS+EBD, speed alert system, six airbags, child seat mounts as well as a child safety lock for the doors.
Here's a look at the pricing
The new Innova Crysta comes in 20 variants with the base-end petrol-model starting at Rs. 14.83 lakh and going upto Rs. 21.56 lakh for the top model. The diesel-variant starts at Rs. 15.57 lakh and goes upto Rs. 23.24 lakh for the high-end model.
