2019 Suzuki Intruder launched in India at Rs. 1.08 lakh
Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2019 edition of its Intruder bike in the country at Rs. 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The updated cruiser bike comes with a new color scheme and some minor design changes. However, mechanically, this model remains same as the standard Intruder which was launched in 2017. 2019 Suzuki Intruder: At a glance
The 2019 Suzuki Intruder comes with a cruiser body design and a new Metallic Matte Titanium Silver paint job. In terms of updates, the bike gets a redesigned gear shift and brake pedal. However, other design features remain pretty much the same, with a sharp twin exhaust pipe, LED taillamp, LED position lights, halogen headlamp, a low rider seat, and a digital instrument console.
2019 Suzuki Intruder: Under the hood
The Suzuki Intruder is powered by a 154.9cc air-cooled, single cylinder, SOHC engine which is sourced from the company's Gixxer range. The motor comes mated to 5-speed manual transmission and produces a maximum power of 14.8ps as well as, 14Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the bike promises a city mileage of 50kmpl and a highway mileage of 57.8kmpl.
Safety and control
In terms of braking performance, the 2019 Suzuki Intruder gets disc brakes on both wheels and a single channel ABS setup. Further, it offers telescopic forks in the front along with a swing arm type mono-shock suspension on the rear side.
2019 Suzuki Intruder: Pricing and availability
Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2019 Intruder in two variants. The carburetted variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 1.01 lakh while the fuel-injected model has been priced at Rs. 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is available for purchase at the company's exclusive showrooms across the country.
