2018 Hyundai Santro's prices leaked ahead of October 23 launch
Hyundai has finally unveiled its all-new Santro hatchback in India and is now accepting online bookings for the car. However, ahead of the official launch on October 23, prices of all the 2018 Santro models have been leaked. The new Santro will be offered in five models with prices starting at Rs. 3.87 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Here's all you need to know.
Here are the prices of 2018 Hyundai Santro models
The all-new Hyundai Santro will be available in five variants: Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. The base-end Dlite variant is priced at Rs. 3.87 lakh, the Era model at Rs. 4.12 lakh, Magna variant at Rs. 4.4 lakh, Sportz trim at Rs. 4.78 lakh, and the Asta variant at Rs. 5.29 lakh. Notably, the Magna and Sportz variants will also be offered in AMT and CNG options.

Meanwhile, you can book the all-new Santro on Hyundai's official website for Rs. 11,100. The bookings will be accepted till October 22. Hyundai has also announced that it will offer introductory prices to first 50,000 customers.
2018 Hyundai Santro: At a glance
The all-new Hyundai Santro retains the signature tall-boy design while getting a lot of new design updates. Up front, there's a new cascading grille with plastic cladding, a new bumper, swept-back headlamps, and fog lamps. On the sides, you can see a kink around the beltline and creases around the wheel arches. On the rear, there's a large windshield and an all-new taillight cluster.
Inside the cabin
Inside the cabin, the 2018 Santro offers rear AC Vents - a first-in-segment feature - along with electrically adjustable ORVMs and USB ports. In terms of technology, the new Santro (top-model) gets a 6.94-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link integration. Moreover, the car comes with standard safety features including driver side airbag, ABS, EBD and rear parking sensors.
Under the hood
The all-new Santro is powered by a 1.1-liter petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 68bhp and 99Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the car also debuts an in-house AMT gearbox which is exclusive to Magna and Sportz variants. Further, a CNG fuel option is also available in the Magna and Sportz models.
