Fitbit says it has shipped over 1 million Versa smartwatches
Fitbit has shipped over 1 million units of Versa smartwatch since its launch earlier this year, the company announced in a statement. Versa, an activity and health-centric smartwatch, also offers a dedicated "female health tracking" feature that has reached over 2.4 million users already, according to Fitbit. More than 18,000 developers building apps for Fitbit OS
"Fitbit continues to see growth in apps and clock faces built for Fitbit OS. Through its software development kit (SDK), more than 18,000 developers have joined the Fitbit developer community and over 900 apps and clock faces have been built," said the company.
Its female health mode helps women track menstrual cycle
Compatible with both iOS and Android, Fitbit Versa comes with 15+ different exercise modes. It is capable of tracking steps, sleep pattern, calories burned, floors climbed, among others. The smartwatch also offers a dedicated female mode which allows women to log their periods, track menstrual cycle and gauge ovulation. Featuring a four-day battery life, this waterproof wearable also supports quick replies on Android.

Fitbit Versa sports a 1.34-inch touchscreen display and offers 2.5GB storage which can be used to store up to 300 songs and a bunch of apps. The watch also encloses a 24x7 heart rate tracking sensor and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC (Special Edition only). The Versa runs Fitbit OS 2.0 and is touted to be the lightest metal smartwatch manufactured by Fitbit.

The Fitbit Versa comes in three color variants - black strap with a black aluminum case, gray strap with a silver aluminum case, and a peach-colored strap with a rose gold aluminum case.
