Bengaluru: Video of drunk-mob attacking woman and men goes viral
A shocking video of a group of men, mostly drunk, attacking three persons in a motorbike in the lanes of Bengaluru's Indira Nagar area has gone viral almost after a fortnight of the incident. According to reports, the incident happened on the night of New Year's Eve in the city and has created a massive fury amongst the people across the city. Here's more.
Two arrested after mob attack on motorbike video goes viral
After the video of a woman and two men in a bike being thrashed went viral, two arrests have been made so far by the city police. According to a report, Bengaluru police commissioner T Suneel Kumar said, "The arrested men are 'rowdy sheeters' (persons with a criminal background). We have registered cases under several sections, including assault and wrongful restraint."
Video was released by rival gang
The 27-second video uploaded by a rival gang shows a group of men dancing in the middle of the road when a motorbike brushed past one of them. Even though no one was hurt, the group of men pounced on the bike and started hitting the men repeatedly. Meanwhile, the woman on the bike got down and wasn't attacked, the police commissioner added.
