Rains in Bengaluru right before ISL-finals, IMD predicts more showers!
Bengalureans were in for a surprise today when it rained in several parts of the city. "The pre-monsoon rains are due to low pressure in the Arabian Sea. Moderate spells of rain accompanied by heavy winds are likely for the next two days," said IMD Bengaluru Chief Sundar M. Metri. This might be 'dampening' news for many: the ISL final is scheduled for Saturday.

Not all was well: Power outage in many S-Bengaluru areas
The city received around 6mm rainfall yesterday. The late evening shower caused a massive traffic jams for the people who were returning from their offices. The most affected was South Bengaluru with many parts like Uttarahalli, Chikkakallasandra, Padmanabhanagar and surrounding areas experiencing power outages. While no casualty or injury was reported, BBMP did receive complaints of uprooted trees from four areas.
