Have 6-years+ experience? Head to Bengaluru, get paid Rs. 11.1L/annum
Bengaluru pays a mid- or senior-level professional the highest with the annual average CTC hovering around Rs.11.1L, followed by Pune, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. This is the second time the Karnataka capital grabbed the numero uno position in the Randstad study. While mid-level talent would be someone having 6-15 years of experience, anything above that is senior-level. Pune pays freshers the maximum.
Pharma, healthcare pay highest: Annual CTC Rs. 10L
Pune at second position pays Rs. 20,000 lesser than Bengaluru, while Mumbai, at 3rd, pays Rs. 10.5L. Grabbing the fifth position is Hyderabad, which pays Rs. 10.3L. Kolkata at 7th pays its executive Rs. 7L/annum. The survey studied 1, 00,000 jobs across 20 industry verticals and 15 functions, and concluded pharma and healthcare sectors are highest-paying, with annual CTC of around Rs. 10L.
But mid-level executives used to get higher salaries earlier
The Randstad Report observes that though it's impressive, but mid-level employees earlier got paid higher at Rs. 12L on an average, till last year. The decline is due to rise in entry-level roles (where payment is Rs. 4-6L) and reduction in mid-level roles. Additionally, specialist doctors, solution architects, product engineering specialists and Blockchain tech experts at mid-level get paid much more than their peers.
