Bengaluru: Two medical aspirants' parents cheated of Rs. 30L
Bengaluru police have registered fraud cases against three middlemen allegedly posing as agents in the city's medical colleges and cheating the parents of two medical aspirants in separate incidents. Allahabad-based businessman Nagendra Kumar Yadav was cheated of Rs. 18L by two middlemen, Sandeep Singh and Zahid Alam. Middlemen promised seats in two medical colleges
Koramangala police said Sandeep Singh and Zahid Alam promised a seat at Bengaluru's Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital to the daughter of Nagendra Kumar Yadav and took Rs. 18L in two installments. Patna's Umesh Kumar filed a complaint with the city's Madiwala police that Ashok Kumar promised his daughter a seat at BGS Global Medical College and demanded Rs. 12L for the same.
