Bengaluru: Boy dies after falling from friend's 18-floor apartment building
What's the story
Polas, a Class-12 student, mysteriously fell to his death from the 18th floor of his friend's apartment complex, the Prestige Shantiniketan building in Bengaluru's Whitefield.
The police didn't recover any suicide note.
He reportedly left a message in a WhatsApp group of his friends saying, "It's my final goodbye…Love you ma."
He is the son of a software engineer, Pradeep Chowdhary.

Details
Polas was a regular visitor to Prestige Shantiniketan
Polas, a student of The International School Bengaluru, lived in Whitefield's Palm Meadows and left his apartment around 3:30 am in his father's car.
After reaching Prestige Shantiniketan, the apartment complex's security personnel asked him to fill his details in the visitor book.
After entering his details, he reportedly used the elevator and went to the 18th floor.
Investigation
Police yet to record parents' statement
Whitefield Police couldn't record the statement from Polas's parents who were in a state of shock.
However, DCP (Whitefield) Abdul Ahad said the police are investigating how Polas reached the apartment complex at that hour and then fell from the building.
As of now, it is unclear whether the boy had jumped to his death or was pushed by someone.

A police official stated: "The boy fell around 6am. We don't know what happened between 3.30am and 6am. Why did he go to the terrace at that hour? We're investigating if he was alone on the terrace or his friends were with him."
