Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox goes official in China
Chinese automaker Zongshen Motorcycles has launched the 250X Desert Flying Fox model in its home country. Its arrival in India seems unclear. As for the highlights, the adventure bike has an aggressive design and gets many features, including full-LED illumination. Under the hood, the two-wheeler runs on a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 18.7hp.

The bike is available in two colors
The Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox has a sloping fuel tank with extensions, a single-piece seat with a pillion grab rail, a high-mounted exhaust, a prominent beak, and arrowhead-shaped mirrors. The motorcycle packs a digital instrument console, an all-LED lighting setup, and rides on spoked wheels wrapped in block pattern tires. It is offered in Vitality Orange and Youth Green shades.
It is fueled by a 19hp, 249cc engine
The Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox adventure motorcycle draws power from a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor puts out a maximum power of 18.7hp and a peak torque of 18Nm.
It gets telescopic front forks
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding on the roads while braking. Suspension duties on the motorbike are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front end and a mono-shock unit on the rear side.
Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox: Pricing
In China, the Zongshen 250X Desert Flying Fox ADV sports a price figure of CNY 12,980 (roughly Rs. 1.57 lakh). However, the brand is yet to disclose whether the vehicle will be introduced in India.
