German automaker Volkswagen will launch its facelifted Tiguan SUV in India later this year. In the latest development, a test mule of the car has been found testing on the roads, revealing its key design details. As per the pictures, it will come with a refreshed bumper, a new grille, LED headlights, and updated alloy wheels. Here's our roundup.

The Volkswagen Tiguan (facelift) will sport a revamped fascia, featuring a chrome-finished grille with horizontal slats, a muscular bonnet, a wide air dam, and sleek LED headlights. On the sides, it will be flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and refreshed alloy wheels. The rear section will have "TIGUAN" lettering, a window wiper, a reworked bumper, and wrap-around taillights.
Power and performance
The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan should draw power from a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. The mill should generate 186.5hp of maximum power and 300Nm of peak torque.
A peek inside the cabin
The Volkswagen Tiguan (facelift) should have a spacious cabin with auto climate control, rear AC vents, a wireless charging facility, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It will house a fully-digital instrument console and a new MIB3 touchscreen infotainment console with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
