Volkswagen T-Roc launched in India at Rs. 20 lakh
Volkswagen T-Roc, the premium SUV which made its India debut at the 2020 Auto Expo, has now been launched in the country. The car is offered in a single fully-loaded variant and is priced at Rs. 19.99 lakh. It comes with an appealing look, a hi-tech cabin, and a petrol engine with an automatic gearbox. Volkswagen T-Roc: At a glance
Volkswagen T-Roc comes with an eye-catching design featuring a sporty-looking front fascia, a muscular bonnet, a sleek grille and LED headlamps as well as bumper-mounted trapezoidal LED DRLs. The car also gets roof rails, faux skid plates on both the ends, LED taillamps, and chrome highlights around the windows. Further, the SUV runs on 17-inch alloy wheels and has a wheelbase of 2,590mm.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the T-Roc sports a five-seater cabin featuring a panoramic sunroof and power-adjustable leather seats with ventilation and heating function. The car houses a fully-digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The standard safety fitments on the SUV include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.
Power and performance
The Volkswagen T-Roc is fueled by a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine that is capable of producing 150PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties on the car are taken care of by an automatic 7-speed DSG system.
