Volkswagen T-Roc SUV to be launched on March 18
Volkswagen T-Roc, the mid-sized SUV which was unveiled in India at the recently-concluded Auto Expo, is all set to hit the showrooms on March 18. It will be a petrol-only model and will be arriving in the country through CBU (completely built unit) route. Notably, the bookings for the car are already live via company's official website. Volkswagen T-Roc features an attractive compact design with a dual-tone color scheme, a chrome-finished grille, and sporty-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels. The car gets blacked-out wheel arches as well as side claddings, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and an angular rear profile with roof spoiler. For lighting, it offers all-LED headlights with DRLs, fog lamps, and LED taillamps.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Volkswagen T-Roc offers a luxurious five-seater cabin featuring a panoramic sunroof, two-zone automatic climate control, and a flat-bottom multifunctional steering wheel. The car sports Vienna leather seats and houses an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Under the hood, the Volkswagen T-Roc will pack a BS6-compliant 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine (TSI), that comes mated to an automatic gearbox. This unit is capable of producing 148bhp of maximum power and 240Nm of peak torque.
