2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR's variants explained: Which one is better?
Maruti Suzuki had launched the 2022 version of its WagonR hatchback in India last month. It is offered in four trim levels, namely LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. All the models are packed with features. LXI: Price starts at Rs. 5.4 lakh
The LXI model has halogen headlamps, 13-inch wheels, a power antenna, and body-colored bumpers. It gets a 5-seater dual-tone cabin with dual front airbags, front power windows, ABS, EBD, and an amber-colored instrument cluster. The trim is available with a 1.0-liter K10C engine that makes 64.4hp/89Nm in petrol form and 56hp/82.1Nm in CNG guise. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox.
VXI: Price begins at Rs. 5.86 lakh
The VXI flaunts 14-inch wheels, power-adjustable ORVMs, halogen headlamps, and body-colored door handles. Inside, there are split-folding second-row seats, key-less entry, a smart play dock with Bluetooth, and hill hold control. It also gets all features of LXI. It runs on a 1.0-liter K10C engine that generates 56hp/82.1Nm in CNG guise and 64.4hp/89Nm (petrol form). The mill is linked to a 5-speed manual/AMT gearbox.
ZXI: Price starts at Rs. 6 lakh
The ZXI trim sports a chrome-accented grille, 14-inch rims, large halogen headlamps, and body-colored door handles. It gets steering-mounted audio controls, a dual-tone dashboard, key-less entry, a Bluetooth-enabled smart play dock with two speakers, power windows, and dual-front airbags. The model is fueled by a 1.2-liter, K12N petrol engine that churns out 88.5hp/113Nm. A 5-speed manual/AMT gearbox handles transmission duties.
ZXI+: Price begins at Rs. 6.48 lakh
The ZXI+ model has dual-tone paintwork, 14-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlamps, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and front fog lights. Inside, there is a 7.0-inch Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with voice control, a front passenger side under-seat tray, rear defogger, and two airbags. The trim is powered by a 1.2-liter, K12N petrol engine that puts out 88.5hp/113Nm. The mill is paired to a 5-speed manual/AMT gearbox.
