Tata Altroz Racer's variant details leaked before launch in India
Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce the Altroz Racer edition in India on June 7, as per a leaked brochure. Its unofficial bookings are now open. This sportier version is designed to take on competitors such as the Hyundai i20 N Line, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza. The new model will showcase a racing-inspired dual-tone orange and black paint scheme.
Aesthetic details and color options
The Altroz Racer edition will boast white racing stripes on the hood and roof, along with a blacked-out finish across the grille, bumpers, A B C pillars, and alloy wheels. The rear door handle will be uniquely mounted on the C-pillar. This model will be available in three color options: Avenue White, Atomic Orange, and Pure Gray.
A look at the interiors
The interior of the Altroz Racer will continue the orange-black theme with orange highlights on the AC vents as well as the central console. The footwell lights will emit a similar glow while racing stripes in orange and white shall adorn the seats. Contrast color stitching on the front armrest, seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel shall further enhance the car's ambiance.
Advanced features and safety measures
The Altroz Racer shall come equipped with a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment panel borrowed from Nexon. It will also feature a digital instrument console, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof with voice commands. For safety, it will include hill hold assist, parking sensors, electronic stability control, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and six airbags.
Variant-wise facilities of the car
The new Tata Altroz Racer will be available in three variants: R1, R2, and R3, each offering different features. The base variant R1 will include features like 16-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, leatherette seats, and a floating infotainment system by Harman. The R2 version will add a voice-activated electric sunroof, wireless charger, and a 360-degree surround view system (SVS). The R3 will get iRA-connected car technology, front ventilated seats (driver and co-driver), and an air purifier.
