SKODA's compact SUV slated for March 2025 release
SKODA's compact SUV, recently seen on Indian roads during testing, is scheduled to launch in March 2025. Spy images have revealed design features such as inverted L-shaped LED taillights and a split headlamp setup. The vehicle will also boast a subtle roof spoiler bearing an integrated high-mounted stop lamp. The upcoming model appears to incorporate many design elements from the Kushaq. Production is set to begin in January 2025.
SKODA's compact SUV: Engine and gearbox details
The upcoming SKODA compact SUV will be built on the MQB A0 IN platform, and powered by a 1.0-liter TSI engine capable of producing 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque. The company plans to offer a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with this model. These technical details suggest that the vehicle is designed for both performance and versatility.
Kia Clavis set for early 2025 market launch
Kia Clavis is set to make its Indian debut at the end of 2024, with a market launch planned for early 2025. The new addition to the compact SUV segment will be placed between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia Motors's lineup.
