Royal Enfield prepares to launch 3 new Classic motorcycles
Royal Enfield, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, is set to introduce three new models to its Classic range in India, within the next year. The company's goal is to strengthen its 450cc and 650cc line-ups with these additions. The upcoming Classic-themed motorcycles include an upgraded Royal Enfield Classic 350, a brand-new Royal Enfield Classic Bobber, and a Royal Enfield Classic 650.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is set for cosmetic upgrades
The Royal Enfield Classic 350, part of the brand's J-series engine platform, is set to receive a mid-life upgrade. Since its market debut in late 2021, this model has received positive customer feedback and achieved impressive sales figures. The planned enhancements are expected to include new color options and additional design elements. However, the existing 349cc, SOHC, air- and oil-cooled engine that delivers just over 20hp and 27Nm will remain unchanged.
Royal Enfield Classic Bobber will take on Jawa, Yezdi bikes
The Royal Enfield Classic Bobber is the next model in line for launch. This single-seater bike will be a revamped version of the current Classic model, designed to compete with bobbers in the 300-350cc category from rivals like Jawa and Yezdi. It will feature a raised handlebar, whitewall tires, and modified ergonomics, in comparison to the standard model. Although it might be named the Shotgun 350, official details are yet to be announced.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 will arrive in 2025
Slated for release in early 2025 is the Royal Enfield Classic 650. This model will borrow heavily from its smaller counterpart, the Classic 350, in terms of cosmetic elements. It will flaunt a circular LED headlight with chrome casing, halogen turn signals, pilot lamps, and an upright handlebar for a comfortable touring experience. The motorcycle will be powered by a 648cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine generating a maximum power output of 47hp and 52Nm of peak torque.
