#AutoBytes: Upcoming motorcycles to hit Indian roads in 2020
If you're a motorcycle lover, then 2020 is surely going to be an exciting year for you. From flagship Triumph Tiger 900 to Benelli's Leoncino 800 and Honda's iconic cruiser Rebel 500, there are plenty of motorcycles lined up to hit Indian roads this year. Here, in this compilation, we look at some of the new motorcycles set to arrive in India in 2020.
Triumph Tiger 900
Triumph's flagship Tiger 900 is all set to arrive in India next month. The adventure tourer gets an off-road friendly design and a full-color TFT instrument panel with smartphone connectivity. The motorcycle houses disc brakes on both the ends, along with dual-channel ABS, and packs an 888cc engine that makes 95PS of power. In India, it could be priced around Rs. 10 lakh.
Benelli Leoncino 800
Benelli introduced Leoncino 250 and Leoncino 500 models in India last year, and it is expected that the Italian automaker would bring the 800cc model to our shores sometime in mid-2020. The motorcycle features a naked street design and comes equipped with a fully-digital instrument cluster as well as dual-channel ABS. Furthermore, it packs a 754cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 81PS of maximum power.
Honda CB500X
Meanwhile, Honda's off-roader, the CB500X, will also grace our shores this year. The motorcycle comes with decent ground clearance, a comfortable seating position, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and all-LED fitments for lighting. Powering the motorcycle is a 471cc engine that puts out 47PS of power and 43Nm of peak torque. For safety, it gets disc brakes on both the ends, along with dual-channel ABS.
Honda Rebel 500
Lastly, Honda will be launching its bobber-styled cruiser, the Rebel 500, by the end of this year. The motorcycle features a retro-styled design with a sloping fuel-tank, rounded headlamps as well as mirrors, and a digital instrument cluster. Apart from that, the cruiser shares its mechanical specifications as well as safety features with its sibling, the CB500X.
