What's the story

TVS Motor Company has increased the prices of its Radeon and Sport commuter bikes in India. Following the price-revision, the bikes have become marginally dearer by Rs. 1,280 and Rs. 30, respectively, and now start at Rs. 56,130. As for the highlights, they have a minimalist look, an analog instrument cluster, and run on a BS6-compliant 109.7cc engine. Here's our roundup.

Design

The bikes ride on blacked-out alloy wheels

The TVS Radeon and Sport sit on a single-cradle tubular frame and feature a sloping fuel tank, a flat-type long seat, a silvered grab rail, high-set handlebars, and an elongated exhaust. They house an analog instrument panel, a halogen headlamp, a LED taillight, and ride on blacked-out alloy wheels. The vehicles pack a 10-liter fuel tank.

Information

They run on an 8hp, 110cc engine

The TVS Radeon and Sport draw power from a BS6-compliant 109.7cc engine that produces 8hp of maximum power at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. The mill is linked to a 4-speed manual gearbox.

Safety

Synchronized braking system avoids skidding on the roads

For the safety of the rider, the TVS Radeon is equipped with disc/drum brakes on the front wheel and drum brakes on the rear, while the Sport has drum brakes on both sides, along with a synchronized braking system. Suspension duties on the bikes are handled by telescopic forks on the front side and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber on the rear.
