Toyota launches Innova Crysta Leadership Edition at Rs. 21.21 lakh
Toyota has launched a special Leadership Edition of its popular multi-purpose vehicle, the Innova Crysta, in India at Rs. 21.21 lakh. The new car is based on the Innova Crysta VX (diesel 7-seater variant) and carries a premium of Rs. 62,000 over the latter. It comes with a host of cosmetic updates, some add-on features, but retains the mechanical specifications of the VX model.
Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition: At a glance
The Innova Crysta Leadership Edition sits on the same platform as the VX model but comes with a bunch of cosmetic tweaks such as a blackened-roof, Leadership Edition badging on the front fenders, and chrome-finished door handles. The car runs on blacked-out alloy wheels and gets projector headlamps, electronically adjustable indicator-mounted ORVMs, and LED taillights.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Innova Crysta Leadership Edition gets a seven-seater cabin with captain seats on the second row and 'Leadership Edition' badging on the seats. The MPV comes with rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate control, and houses a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for connectivity features. Further, it offers three airbags, ABS with EBD, and a 360-degree camera with parking sensors.
Power and performance
The Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition is powered by the same BS6-compliant 2.4-liter diesel engine that we have seen on the VX variant. The motor is capable of producing 150PS of maximum power and 343Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties on the car are taken care of by a 5-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Toyota Innova Crysta Leadership Edition costs Rs. 21.21 lakh, which makes it Rs. 62,000 costlier than the VX model.
