Toyota launches Fortuner TRD Celebratory edition at Rs. 33.85 lakh
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Fortuner TRD Celebratory edition in India at Rs. 33.85 lakh. The new model is launched as a commemorative variant to celebrate 10 years of the Fortuner brand in the country. The Fortuner TRD edition features revamped bumpers with TRD badging under the chrome-finished grille as well as tailgate. The car sports a dual-tone color scheme with black roof, indicator-mounted electronically adjustable ORVMs, 18-inch TRD wheels, and blacked-out wheel arches. Further, the SUV gets an all-LED lighting setup for headlights, DRLs, fog lamps, and taillights.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the TRD edition features a dual-tone cabin with black and maroon leather seats as well as a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control. As for electronic features, the SUV gets a six-speaker audio system and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment panel. The car also gets dual-zone automatic climate control, a parking camera, and voice recognition feature.
Power and performance
The Toyota Fortuner TRD edition draws power from the same 2.8-liter diesel engine which we have seen on the standard Fortuner. This engine, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, is capable of producing 175bhp of power and 450Nm of peak torque.
