The third place in April 2024's hatchback sales was secured by Maruti Suzuki Alto, with a total of 9,043 units sold.

This figure indicates a YoY sales drop of 22% from the previous year's tally of 11,548 units.

Tata Tiago finished fourth with 6,796 units sold, reflecting a YoY decline of 20%, from the previous year's total of 8,450 units.

Hyundai i20 ranked fifth in April's hatchback sales with a total of 5,199 units sold, reflecting a YoY drop of 20% from the previous year's figure of 6,472 units.

Notably, all top 10 finishers except for Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza recorded negative YoY sales growths.

The Tata Altroz posted an impressive YoY growth of 11% with a total sale of 5,148 units, while the Toyota Glanza secured the eighth spot with a YoY growth of 20% selling 4,380 units.
