Everything we know about Lamborghini's final V10 sports car
Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini has unveiled its Huracan Super Trofeo Jota (STJ), marking a significant milestone in the company's history. This model represents the end of Lamborghini's V10 sports car era, with only 10 units being produced. The Huracan series, which started in 2014, will now be replaced by a new hybrid sports car later this year.
A powerhouse of performance
The Huracan STJ is powered by a robust 5.2-liter, naturally-aspirated, V10 engine that delivers 630hp of power and 565Nm of torque. This engine, identical to the one in the Huracan STO, is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians developed an aerodynamic package for this model, enabling it to lap around the Nardo Technical Center Handling Track, one second faster than the STO.
Innovative aerodynamics and suspension enhancements
The aerodynamic package of the Huracan STJ, includes two new carbon-fiber components and a three-degree adjustment to the rear spoiler's angle. Lamborghini states that this modification increases downforce by approximately 10%. The STJ also introduces a set of race-inspired, four-way adjustable shock absorbers for improved rigidity and handling. Special Bridgestone Potenza racing tires fitted on 20-inch single-nut rims, further distinguish this model.
A blend of exclusivity and aesthetic appeal
The design of the Huracan STJ is based on the STO, with two distinct configurations and liveries. One option features a Grigio Telesto (gray) body with a black roof, red and white accents, and black-colored Alcantara seats with red stitching. The alternative design showcases vibrant Blu Eliadi blue paintwork with a black roof, and red and white detailing. Each model comprises a commemorative plaque marked 1-10, emphasizing its exclusivity.
