This Bentley Continental GT is one-of-a-kind art piece
Luxury car manufacturers often release limited-edition versions of their cars, and Bentley is no exception to that trend. This time, the British automaker has collaborated with an artist to design a special Continental GT sports car that is being called as a piece of art. What's unique? Well, it has a very distinctive livery and it will be available to just one buyer.
About this special edition Bentley Continental GT
This special Continental GT is crafted by renowned Icelandic artist Katrin Fridriks in partnership with London-based JD Malat Gallery and Bentley's Jack Barclay dealership. The special model features a unique paint job inspired by the artist's 'Speed of Light - Commander' show.
"The frequency between black and white"
The unique Continental GT is like a piece of art, exploring the "frequency between black and white." The model features a pearl-like glossy black finish with white, lavender, purple, and similar colored swirls painted across the entire body. The whole idea imparts a sense of speed and motion even when the car is stationary while giving a distinctive appearance depending on the viewing angle.
Mechanically, it's the same as standard Continental GT
Mechanically, this one-off model is the same as the regular Continental GT. So, it packs a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine that churns out 626hp and 900Nm of torque, allowing the luxury grand tourer to sprint from 0-100kmph in 3.7 seconds and top out at 333kmph.
Pricing and availability
This special Continental GT is currently on display at London-based Jack Barclay, Bentley's oldest dealership. The car will remain at the dealer before being showcased at the JD Malat Gallery for other special events. After all the displaying, Bentley will sell this plush car. As for pricing, you don't want to know! Expect a hefty premium over the $200,000-worth regular model.
