Alfa Romeo unveils limited-run Quadrifoglio with red carbon interior
Alfa Romeo has ceased accepting bookings for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models in the US, but continues to offer these models in Europe. The company has now launched a special edition of these cars, named "Super Sport," featuring a unique red-colored carbon fiber weave throughout the cabin. This limited-run edition commemorates Alfa Romeo's first victory at the 1928 Mille Miglia with the 6C 1500 Super Sport.
A look at the exteriors
For the first time in 101 years, the four-leaf clover logo on these models features a black triangle instead of the traditional white background. The official images showcase both cars sporting a Nero Vulcano metallic paintwork, but they are also available in a three-layer Rosso Etna shade. Additionally, the Giulia can be ordered in Bianco Alfa and offers an option for a carbon fiber roof.
Features and availability
The Giulia Quadrifoglio is equipped with 19-inch wheels, while the Stelvio rides on larger 21-inch alloys. Both models feature black brake calipers, Akrapovič exhaust setup with carbon fiber finishers, and carbon mirrors similar to Giulia's front splitter. The red carbon fiber interior design, applied on the dashboard, door cards, and center console, is said to have a 3D effect. A total of 275 Giulia and 175 Stelvio units will be produced globally, but will not be available in North America.
Future plans for Quadrifoglio models
Despite ending the production of the Quadrifoglios in the US in June, Alfa Romeo plans to return. Larry Dominique, Head of North American Operations, stated, "This is not the end of the story. I look forward to presenting the next chapter in the four-leaf clover's journey." The company's future plans involve launching Quadrifoglio EV models later this decade. The next Giulia model, set for a 2026 debut, will utilize the same STLA Large platform, underpinning the latest Dodge Charger.
