Skoda announces Rs. 2.38 lakh price cut on Kodiaq Style
In a bid to boost sales, Skoda India has reduced the prices of Kodiaq Style SUV by Rs. 2.38 lakh. The Kodiaq line-up comprises two models: the entry-level Style and L&K. Presently, the company has announced a price cut for the Style variant, while the L&K model will continue to sell at its regular price of Rs. 36.78 lakh. Here's more.
Kodiaq Style will be marketed as Corporate edition
The company will market the Skoda Kodiaq Style with the new prices as Corporate edition, according to Autocar. However, unlike previous Corporate editions, where only existing Skoda owners were able to purchase the cheaper models, the Kodiaq Style Corporate edition will be offered to everyone.
Meanwhile, here's recalling Skoda Kodiaq Style
To recall, the Kodiaq Style features a premium sporty look with a tall and wide stance. The SUV comes with a cascading front grille, sleek headlamps, silver-colored roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It sports indicator-mounted electronically adjustable ORVMs and body-colored door handles as well as roof spoiler. Further, the car houses LED headlamps with DRLs, fog lamps, and LED taillights.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Skoda Kodiaq Style features a seven seater cabin with ventilated seats wrapped in leather, panoramic sunroof, and a multifunctional steering wheel. It comes with a 10-speaker Canton sound system and an 8-inch infotainment panel with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV also offers features like ambient lighting, three-zone automatic climate control, and start/stop button.
Power and performance
The Skoda Kodiaq Style is powered by a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine which is capable of producing 148bhp of power and 340Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all wheels.
Here's a look at the safety features
The Skoda Kodiaq Style comes equipped with disc brakes on all wheels along with ABS, EBD, and traction control. It offers 9 airbags and a 360-degree camera as well as front and rear sensors for parking assistance. Moreover, the SUV comes with a bunch of driver-assistance features including blind spot detection, hill hold control, multi-collision brake, and traffic jam assist.
What about pricing?
With the latest price revision, the Skoda Kodiaq Style is now available at Rs. 32.99 lakh. As mentioned earlier, there is also a Kodiaq L&K variant which has not received price cut and will continue to sell at its regular price of Rs. 36.78 lakh.

Alongside, the company has also announced a price cut on select variants of Skoda Rapid and Skoda Superb. The Rapid Style and Rapid Ambition variants are now cheaper by Rs. 1.16 lakh and 1.3 lakh, respectively. On the other hand, the Superb Style in petrol-automatic and diesel trims have received a price cut of Rs. 1.80 lakh.
