Czech automaker SKODA has revealed the KUSHAQ SUV in production-specific form. It will arrive in India in the coming weeks. As for the highlights, the KUSHAQ looks similar to the VISION IN concept model. It has a sporty stance, an upmarket cabin with a host of features, and is offered with a choice of two petrol engines. Exteriors

The car is available in five color schemes

Skoda Kushaq features a muscular bonnet, a butterfly grille, split LED headlights, a muscular bumper housing fog lamps, and a silvered faux skid plate. It is flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. An elongated spoiler and boomerang-shaped LED taillights are available on the rear. The car comes in White, Silver, Carbon Steel, Honey Orange, and Tornado Red colors.

It is offered with a choice of two engines

SKODA KUSHAQ is offered with two BS6-compliant engine options- a 1.0-liter TSI turbo-petrol mill that makes 113hp/175Nm, and a 1.5-liter TSI turbo-petrol motor that generates 148hp/250Nm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Interiors

The vehicle has a spacious and tech-loaded cabin

The KUSHAQ has a dual-tone cabin, featuring ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a 7-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, and cruise control. It houses a 10.0-inch digital instrument cluster called SKODA's Virtual cockpit and a 10.0-inch 'floating' touchscreen infotainment console with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 'MySKODA Connect' app. Six airbags, ABS, parking sensors, and a multi-collision braking system ensure safety.

The pricing and availability details of the SKODA KUSHAQ in India will be revealed at the time of launch. However, it is expected to cost around Rs. 10 lakh and take on rivals like Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.
