Royal Enfield recalls bikes globally over defective reflectors
Royal Enfield is calling back all of its motorcycle models worldwide, all thanks to concerns over some defective reflectors. The company found out that the rear or side reflectors on certain models, might not shine bright enough to meet safety standards. This hiccup was spotted during routine checks and could affect how visible the motorcycle is, creating a safety issue for riders.

The recall affects bikes made between November 2022 and March 2023. Royal Enfield has not shared the exact number of bikes impacted, but it did say that all 11 of its motorcycles are part of this recall. The company also added that just a tiny percentage of the bikes had this issue during testing.
Royal Enfield to replace reflectors free of cost
Royal Enfield is reaching out to affected customers in stages. They'll be asked to bring their bikes to the nearest service center for a free swap of the side and rear reflectors. The company thinks this process will take around 15 minutes per bike. The recall is happening in multiple nations, including India, Brazil, Europe, South Korea, Canada, and the US.
