Royal Enfield Hunter 350 fully revealed in latest spy shots
Royal Enfield is expected to launch the new Hunter 350 model sometime later this year. In the latest development, the bike has been spotted testing again, but this time in a production-ready avatar. The spy shots have fully revealed the design and other features of the motorcycle and the current sighting could mean that it is inching closer to production.
Why does this story matter?
The Hunter 350 will be the latest addition to Royal Enfield's portfolio of roadsters. It has a design scheme that connects the company's past with the present—a blend of old-school and modern. Based on the same J platform as the Meteor 350 and Classic 350, the Hunter will take on the likes of Honda CB350RS.
The bike will have 17-inch alloy wheels
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will have a neo-retro design with a blacked-out exterior finish. It will feature a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, low mid-set footpegs, flat handlebars, a circular headlamp as well as taillight, and an upswept exhaust. The two-wheeler will house a digital instrument console with Tripper Navigation. It will have 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
A 20hp engine will power the bike
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will draw power from a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 20.4hp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The motor will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
It will have dual-channel ABS
In terms of safety equipment, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for improved handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the bike will be taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and twin shock absorbers on the rear end.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Pricing
The official pricing of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be announced at the time of its launch later this year. However, we expect it to cost around Rs. 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
