AI-enabled electric Revolt bike to launch on August 7
Gurugram-based Revolt Intellicorp is all set to launch the fully electric Revolt RV400 in India on August 7. The all-electric motorcycle comes with swappable batteries and promises a range of 156km on a single charge. Notably, the bookings for the bike are live via Amazon, Revolt's official website, and company's dealerships at Delhi and Pune at a token amount of Rs. 1,000. Here's more.
Revolt RV400: At a glance
The Revolt RV400 features a sporty look and gets a blacked-out treatment on mirrors, mudguards, and alloy wheels. It comes with silver-colored grab rails, hexagonal headlamps, wide handlebars, and an attractive paint job. The motorcycle sports a digital instrument console and houses an all-LED setup for lighting. Moreover, it is offered in Cosmic Black and Rebel Red color options.
A look at the features offered by the bike
The Revolt RV400 comes with a bunch of handy features which can be accessed by the Revolt app such as Map guide, bike start-stop via Bluetooth, doorstep battery delivery, and geo-fencing. Interestingly, there is a ringtone feature using which the silent RV400 can produce four different types of exhaust sounds.
Interestingly, the motorcycle is AI-enabled
The Revolt RV400 comes equipped with AI-enabled system which tracks your riding activity. Meaning, it can calculate real-time battery consumption, range, distance traveled, time taken and can prepare a rider diagnostic report.
Power and performance
The Revolt RV400 is powered by a 3.2kWh Lithium-ion battery which promises a range of 156km on a single charge. The bike offers a top speed of 85kmph and can be fully charged in around 4 hours. Meanwhile, the battery is swappable, so you can replace it by ordering a fully charged one using the Revolt app.
Revolt RV400: On the road
The Revolt RV400 comes equipped with disc brakes on both front and rear wheels along with the CBS for better road handling. It also gets Regenerative Braking System (RBS) which charges the battery of bike whenever you apply brakes. For suspension duties, it has USD forks up front and a monoshock suspension on rear. Further, the bike offers Eco, City, and Sport+ riding modes.
And, what about pricing?
In India, the Revolt RV400 is expected to arrive at a price of around Rs. 1 lakh. However, the official details will be revealed by the company during the launch event which is scheduled for August 7.
