Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser's prices increased by Rs. 45,000
Toyota has raised the prices of its Glanza and Urban Cruiser models in India. The Glanza has become costlier by up to Rs. 45,000 and now starts at Rs. 7.7 lakh, while the Urban Cruiser has received a price-hike of up to Rs. 17,500 and starts at Rs. 8.87 lakh. Both the vehicles have sporty looks and draw power from BS6-compliant engines.

The cars have LED headlights and a chromed grille
The Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser have a sloping roofline, a chrome-finished grille with slats, a wide air vent, a sculpted hood, and narrow LED headlights. On the sides, the vehicles are flanked by indicator-mounted ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and alloy wheels. The Urban Cruiser also gets roof rails. Window wipers and wrap-around LED taillamps grace the rear section of the two cars.
They run on BS6-compliant petrol engines
The Glanza runs on a 1.2-liter petrol engine offered in two tunes: 82hp/113Nm and 89hp/113Nm. Meanwhile, the Urban Cruiser is fueled by a 1.5-liter petrol mill that generates 103hp/138Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual, a 4-speed automatic, and a CVT gearbox.
The vehicles get USB chargers and five seats
The Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser have a spacious 5-seater cabin, featuring auto climate control, a multifunctional steering wheel, key-less entry, and USB chargers. Multiple airbags, a rear-view camera, crash sensors, ABS, an engine immobilizer, and EBD ensure the passengers' safety. They also house a touchscreen infotainment console enabled with support for Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

After the latest price-hike, the Toyota Glanza begins at Rs. 7.7 lakh for the base G model and goes up to Rs. 9.66 lakh for the V CVT variant. Meanwhile, the Urban Cruiser falls in the Rs. 8.87-11.58 lakh price-bracket (all prices, ex-showroom, New Delhi).
