BMW G 310 GS becomes costlier in India: Check prices
German automaker BMW Motorrad has raised the price of its G 310 GS adventure bike in India. Following the latest revision in price, the two-wheeler has become costlier by Rs. 5,000. As for the highlights, the bike has a sporty design, a full-LED setup for lighting, and draws power from a BS6-compliant 313cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 33.5hp of power.
Why does this story matter?
The BMW G 310 GS is a good-looking motorbike with decent performance. The marginal rise in price brings no change in its features or specifications and is unlikely to affect its sales in the market. The two-wheeler has been priced competitively on our shores and takes on rivals such as the KTM 390 Adventure, which it undercuts by Rs. 23,000.
The bike has a stepped-up seat and cast aluminium wheels
The BMW G 310 GS has a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a prominent beak, a stepped-up single-piece seat, a pillion grab rail, an upswept exhaust, and golden-colored front forks. The bike packs a full-LED setup for lighting, a digital instrument console, and rides on cast aluminium wheels. It can store 11-liter of fuel and tip the scales at 169.5kg.
It runs on a 34hp, 313cc engine
The BMW G 310 GS draws power from a BS6-compliant 313cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 33.5hp and a peak torque of 28Nm.
There are disc brakes on both the ends
In terms of safety equipment, the BMW G 310 GS is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by 41mm inverted forks on the front side and a central spring strut on the rear end.
