What's the story
Porsche has finally launched its much-awaited SUV, the Cayenne Coupe, in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.31 crore.
The premium coupe, available in V6 and V8 engine options, features a head-turning design, ultra-luxurious interiors with hi-tech features, and can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds.
Notably, the company has brought the car to our shores via CBU (completely built unit) route.
Exteriors
A look at the Porsche Cayenne Coupe
Right of the bat, the Cayenne Coupe features a stunning look with a sloping roof design, a roof-mounted spoiler, and 22-inch alloy wheels.
The car houses electronically adjustable ORVMs, dual exhausts, blacked-out wheel arches, and an LED strip on the boot lid connecting the taillamps.
In addition, it also gets all-LED fitments for headlamps, turn indicators, and taillights.
Interiors
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Cayenne Coupe offers a five-seater cabin with panoramic glass roof (carbon fiber roof as optional), ventilated seats, leather upholstery, and ambient lighting.
The car gets a fully-digital instrument cluster, along with a 12.3-inch infotainment panel with 'Porsche Connect' connectivity feature, and a heads-up display.
Moreover, it offers safety elements like eight airbags, ABS with EBD, and several other driver-centric features.
Engine
Power and performance
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe is offered in 3.0-liter V6 and 4.0-liter V8 engine options that come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The former can produce 335bhp of power and 450Nm of peak torque, while the latter churns out 542bhp and 770Nm.
Moreover, the car promises a top speed of 286kmph and can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 3.9 seconds.
