Ola Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Roadster X in India.
Roadster X comes with three battery pack options and promises a range of up to 200km on a single charge. It is designed as a daily commuter with a sporty aesthetic.
The bike carries a starting price tag of ₹74,999 (ex-showroom). Its bookings are open and deliveries will start next month.

The base variant of Roadster X comes with a 2.5kWh battery, promising a range of up to 140km on a single charge.
The mid-spec model, which comes at ₹84,999, comes with a 3.5kWh battery and a claimed single-charge range of 196km.
Finally, the top-spec version which costs ₹95,999, packs a 4.5kWh battery that can provide up to 252km on a single charge.

What about Roadster X+?
Alongside the new Roadster X, Ola Electric has also launched new Roadster X+ variants with a 4.5kWh battery and a 9.1kWh battery, priced at ₹1.05 lakh and ₹1.55 lakh respectively (ex-showroom prices).
With these models, you get a claimed range of 252km and 501km respectively on a single charge, further widening the options for potential buyers looking for longer-range electric motorcycles from the brand.

Features and performance
The Ola Roadster X features a 4.3-inch LCD screen running the Ola MoveOS 5, providing features like turn-by-turn navigation, advanced regenerative braking, cruise control, TPMS, and OTA updates.
It also provides three riding modes - Sports, Normal, and Eco.
The bike is fueled by a single electric motor, which produces 9.38hp of peak power on all variants.

Speed and braking system
Depending on the battery pack you choose, Roadster X offers different top speeds.
With the 2.5kWh battery pack, it can go up to 105km/h, while the 3.5kWh option promises a top speed of 118km/h.
The range-topping 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh battery pack variants claim a top speed of 125km/h.
The bike comes with alloy wheels, front disk and rear drum brake setup, and Ola Electric's Combi Braking System (CBS) with brake-by-wire tech for added safety.
