Ola S1 X becomes cheaper, now starts at ₹70,000
Ola Electric has reduced the price of its S1 X model, with the electric scooter now starting from ₹69,999. This price cut is applicable across all three variants of the S1 X, allowing customers to save between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000. The company also confirmed that bookings for the electric scooter are now open on its website, with deliveries set to commence from next week.
New prices for different variants of S1 X
The Ola S1 X electric scooter is available in three different variants, each with a unique battery pack option. The 2kWh battery variant is now priced at ₹69,999 (ex-showroom), down from ₹79,999. The price of 3kWh battery model has been reduced to ₹84,999 (ex-showroom) from ₹89,999. The top-end 4kWh battery variant is now available at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), down from its previous priced of ₹1,09,999.
Ola Electric's future plans and current lineup
Currently, the Ola S1 X is the most budget-friendly electric scooter in Ola Electric's S1 range, which also includes models like the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1X+. The company is also planning to introduce electric motorcycles in the country. Four different models are currently under development and are expected to be unveiled in late 2024. Ola Electric is also working on an electric car but it isn't expected to debut anytime soon.
Range of Ola S1 X electric scooter models
The S1 X electric scooter offers different specifications based on the battery pack. The 2kWh version has a range of 91km on a single charge, takes 7.4 hours to charge, and can reach a top speed of 85km/h. The 3kWh version offers a higher top speed of 90km/h and an increased range of 151km. The top-end variant with the 4kWh battery boasts an even greater range of 190km.
