Ferrato Disruptor e-bike, with 129km range, launched at ₹1.60 lakh
Okaya's high-end electric two-wheeler brand, Ferrato, has entered the market with its first product, the Disruptor. The new e-motorcycle is priced at ₹1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially, it will be available in Delhi, Gurgaon, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Bangalore with a projected delivery timeline of 90 days. The bike has a fully-faired design, an IP67-rated battery pack, and boasts a range of 129km. As per the company, the running cost of the bike would be around 25 paisa per kilometer.
Ferrato Disruptor: Performance and battery specifications
The Ferrato Disruptor is powered by a 6.4kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), capable of generating a maximum torque output of 228Nm. The motorcycle can reach a top speed of 95km/h. It features a fixed battery pack with a capacity of 3.97kWh, offering up to 129km range on one full charge. The battery can be fully charged in about five hours.
Ferrato Disruptor: Design and connectivity features
The Ferrato Disruptor offers three riding modes—Eco, City, and Sports—which can be easily switched using a control on the handlebar. The design includes a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear, along with 17-inch alloy wheels. The e-bike also supports mobile connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS options, including geo-fencing and Find My Bike support.
Okaya's future plans for Ferrato brand
Okaya plans to expand the Ferrato product line by launching an e-bike and a high-end e-scooter by the end of the year. The company also intends to establish exclusive service centers for the Ferrato sub-brand, moving away from its existing network. Additionally, Okaya EV is aiming to set up over 100 dealerships in three phases across India for Ferrato.
