All-new Renault Duster to break cover on November 29
Renault is gearing up to reveal the new-generation Duster on November 29 in Portugal. The upcoming model will likely be revealed under the French carmaker's sister brand, Dacia. The forthcoming SUV will bear the Renault badge in countries like India, where its launch is anticipated in late 2025. The rugged four-wheeler will boast a more potent engine and be underpinned by the highly acclaimed CMF-B modular platform.
Rugged design to highlight off-roading capabilities
Leaked images indicate that the new Renault Duster will showcase a robust, squared-off design, lending it an off-road allure. The SUV will be built on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B modular platform and incorporate Dacia's updated, streamlined front end. The Renault-branded SUV will exhibit some design distinctions compared to its Dacia equivalent. Furthermore, it will likely have a three-row counterpart called the Bigster, which is predicted to have its worldwide premiere next year.
It will be offered with three engine options
The upcoming Renault Duster would be offered with three powertrain options. A 120hp, 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine; a 140hp, 1.2-liter petrol-hybrid setup; and a 170hp, 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol motor with compatibility for flex-fuel in higher trim levels. With a 170hp mill, this will be the most powerful Duster ever made. Although not confirmed yet, the SUV will likely get the option of both manual and automatic gearboxes.
