    What's the story

The Hero Destini 125 scooter in India is now available with Hero Connect technology, at an additional cost of Rs. 4,999.

It offers facilities such as topple alert, geofence alert, driving score, speed alert, and Hero Locate. Notifications are sent to the rider's registered mobile number in the cases of toppling, towing, as well as for speed and geofence alert.

    Here are more details.

    Information

    How to avail the facility?

To avail Hero Connect feature on the Destini 125 scooter in India, customers can head to the Hero MotoCorp website and fill up their personal details. The company's representatives will then get in touch with them.

    Design

The scooter houses a digital-analog instrument console

The Hero Destini 125 sits on an underbone frame and features an indicator-mounted front apron, a flat-type seat, a stubby exhaust, and a pillion grab rail.

The vehicle houses a semi-digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, a bulb taillight, and rides on blacked-out wheels.

It has a kerb weight of 114kg and a 5-liter fuel tank.

    Information

    The two-wheeler runs on a 9hp, 125cc engine

The Hero Destini 125 draws power from a 124.6cc, air-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver 9hp of maximum power at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The mill is linked to an automatic gearbox.

    Safety

Drum brakes on both the wheels ensure safety

For the safety of the rider, the Hero Destini 125 is equipped with drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with an integrated braking system for improved handling on the roads.

Suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and a unit swing with a spring-loaded hydraulic damper on the rear end.

    Information

    Hero Destini 125: Pricing

In India, the Hero Destini 125 carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 67,990 and goes up to Rs. 73,390 (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price-point, it takes on rivals such as TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa 6G.
