Custom Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 goes official: Check features
Baxter Cycle, a renowned US custom bike shop, has recently unveiled its latest project - a custom modification of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The revamped motorcycle now mirrors the aesthetics of the Harley-Davidson Sportster S, with additional scrambler-inspired elements. The transformation includes a Bates Style headlight and a BSA Western mini ape handlebar, while retaining the original footpeg position with Royal Enfield's Black Deluxe Rider's footpegs.
What about engine modifications?
In addition to aesthetic changes, Baxter Cycle has also made significant modifications to the Super Meteor's engine. The original twin exhausts of the stock Super Meteor were replaced with a Zard high-rise scrambler/flat track exhaust system. This particular exhaust system is commonly found in the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The inclusion of this system in the Super Meteor, notably enhances its resemblance to the Harley-Davidson Sportster S power cruiser.
Rear end revamp and tire replacement enhance performance
The rear end of the Super Meteor has been significantly revamped, featuring a trimmed rear fender and a Lecter taillight. Baxter Cycle also replaced the stock tires with Shinko 804/805 block pattern adventure tires, for improved performance. Despite these modifications, the bike's performance capabilities remain unaltered. The Super Meteor 650 continues to be powered by a 648cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 47hp and 52.3Nm.
How much does Super Meteor 650 cost in India?
In India, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 starts at ₹3.64 lakh and goes up to ₹3.94 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Its modded version will not be available on our shores.
