MINI Aceman EV debuts with circular OLED touchscreen, 400km range

MINI has officially introduced its latest electric vehicle, the Aceman EV, just before the Beijing motor show.
The new model is positioned between the Cooper and Countryman in MINI's range.
The Aceman EV is based on an enhanced version of the platform used for the electric Cooper, making it a larger alternative to the Cooper hatchback.
Unique design elements such as angular headlamps and rectangular tail lamps distinguish this model from others in MINI's lineup.

The Aceman EV measures 4.07 meters in length, 1.75 meters in width, and 1.5 meters in height.
Its design features include angular LED headlamps, squared-out wheel arches, and rectangular LED tail lamps at the back.
The interior design is consistent with other new MINI models and includes a large central OLED touch display for the infotainment system.
This model will be offered initially in two versions - the base model E and the high-end SE.

A look at the performance of the car
The base model E of the Aceman EV comes with a front-mounted motor that generates 184hp/290Nm, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 160km/h.
It is powered by a 42.5kWh battery that provides up to 310km range (WLTP cycle) and supports charging at a maximum speed of 75kW.
The high-end SE variant is equipped with a larger, more powerful motor and battery, offering enhanced performance metrics.
SE specifications
MINI Aceman SE offers 405km of range
The SE variant of the Aceman EV boasts a motor that produces 218hp/330Nm, achieving a quicker acceleration time of 7.1 seconds for 0-100km/h and a higher top speed of 170km/h.
This model is equipped with a larger 54.2kWh battery that offers up to 405km range and supports faster charging at a maximum speed of 95kW.
MINI also plans to introduce a JCW (John Cooper Works) Aceman, featuring the same powertrain as the SE but with an aggressive chassis setup.
